Allyson Black

Allyson Black serves as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice President at Baltimore Gas & Electric since January 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager in State Affairs and Economic Development, Executive Director of the Office of Government, Corporate and Community Affairs at the Maryland Department of Human Resources, and Vice President of Government Affairs at the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. Notably, Allyson has extensive experience as a lobbyist advocating for the Maryland business community on issues related to energy, environment, transportation funding, and employment law. Additional roles include Legislative Liaison for Prince George's County Government and involvement in various initiatives supporting economic development and public policy. Allyson holds a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
