Edward Hirsch has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting from 2009, they worked as an Intern at H2Gen Innovations. Edward then worked as a Research Assistant at M&B Appraisal Group in 2010. From 2011 to 2014, they held different positions in the rotating engineer program at Salt River Project, where they gained experience in various aspects of the company's operations. In this role, Edward is responsible for developing strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while aligning with economic, regulatory, and sustainability objectives. Edward also manages the Path to Clean program and communicates progress and plans to stakeholders. Throughout their career, Edward has demonstrated skills in strategy development, project management, budgeting, and engineering.

Edward Hirsch holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, which they obtained in the period of 2006 to 2010. Edward also has a Master's in Business with a focus on Energy from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Additionally, Edward has obtained various certifications in areas such as vocal confidence, listening skills, diversity, anti-racism, bias, and leadership through online platforms such as LinkedIn. Edward is also a Professional Engineer, certified by the State of Arizona Board of Technical Registration, and has a Quality Control Examiner certification from Salt River Project, Plant Technical Support.
