Hamid Abdurrahim

Hamid Abdurrahim is a seasoned professional in electrical engineering and project management with extensive experience in the utility sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Distribution Automation & Technology at Baltimore Gas & Electric since August 2017, Hamid leads the operation and management of Distribution Automation and Conservation Voltage Reduction systems, overseeing the deployment of advanced technologies and enhancing system reliability. Previous roles include Senior Engineer and New Business Supervisor at BGE, where Hamid focused on improving electrical distribution system reliability and managing key stakeholder collaborations. Earlier experience at Pepco Holdings and Delmarva Power involved designing power distribution systems and analyzing energy consumption to support customer needs.
