Katie Lautar

Executive Director at Baltimore Green Space

Katherine Lautar is an experienced professional in environmental and community engagement, currently serving as the Executive Director of Baltimore Green Space since July 2012. In this role, Katherine oversees operations, partnerships, and a neighborhood engagement model that conserves over 100 parks and open spaces in Baltimore. Katherine has a strong background in program development, previously having served as Program Director at Baltimore Green Space, where the unique Forest Patch program was created. Additional experience includes legal assistance at Thompson Barry Law Firm related to environmental issues, and various roles at Strong City Baltimore, culminating in the position of Associate Director of Schools and Youth. Katherine has taught English to at-risk adolescents and developed youth programs in prior roles. Katherine holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Goucher College.
