Sarah Dansberger

Sarah Dansberger is an experienced librarian and archivist, currently serving as the Head Librarian and Archivist at The Baltimore Museum of Art since June 2020. Prior to this role, Sarah worked at the Aperture Foundation from July 2012 to April 2020, where responsibilities included establishing control over a large institutional archive, designing and maintaining an integrated library system, and managing collections care and quality control. Additional experience includes serving as an archivist at Cheim & Read, where Sarah collaborated with artists and managed extensive records, as well as internships focused on photographic history at prestigious institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum and the Smithsonian Institution. Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
