Sarah Hammond

Sarah Hammond currently serves as the Senior Director of Exhibitions and Program Alignment at the Baltimore Museum of Art, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Sarah was the Director of Academic Operations for Graduate Studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art from July 2019 to September 2023, overseeing various operational aspects of the graduate programs. Experience also includes roles at the Carnegie Museum of Art as an Exhibitions Project Manager, where Sarah developed exhibition schedules and managed budgets, and significant positions at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, focusing on exhibition management and coordination. Earlier career stages included roles at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute and the Saint Louis Art Museum, contributing to exhibition-related tasks and research activities. Education includes a Master of Arts in the History of Art from Williams College and a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Art History and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis.
