Sam Anderson

Samuel Anderson is an accomplished music professional currently serving as the Manager of Education and Community Engagement at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, where responsibilities include overseeing three affiliated Youth Orchestras since October 2022. Samuel has been a freelance musician since January 2013 and previously worked as a General Music Instructor and Elementary General Music Teacher for Anne Arundel County Public Schools from October 2021 to October 2022. Additional experience includes positions as a Barista at Ceremony Coffee Roasters and Bond Coffee Company, and as a Beginning Low Brass Instructor at Pendleton County Middle/High School. Samuel holds a Master of Music in Trombone from Yale University, earned between 2019 and 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Vanderbilt University, completed in 2017.
