Jason Hanna

Jason Hanna is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since October 2021. Previously, Jason held the position of Director and Natural Gas Options Trader at Citi Global Commodities from September 2017 to October 2021, and also served as Portfolio Manager at Velite Benchmark from May 2015 to August 2017. Earlier career roles include Head Trader and Principal at KC Alpha Fund from November 2013 to April 2015, and a prior stint as Director and Natural Gas Options Trader at Citi Global Commodities from January 2007 to November 2013. Jason holds a Master's degree in Financial Economics from the University of Toronto (2005-2007) and a BA Honors in Economics from the University of Alberta (2001-2005).
