Michael Grimaldi

Michael Grimaldi serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since September 2021. Previously, Michael held the position of Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where responsibilities included serving as CIO of the Corporate and Investment Bank and EMEA CIO from October 2017 to April 2021. Prior to this role, Michael was also a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, functioning as CIO of the Corporate and Investment Bank from June 2014 to September 2017. Michael's extensive experience includes a tenure as Partner at Goldman Sachs, leading Global Markets Technology and acting as EMEA CIO from July 1993 to June 2014. Earlier in his career, Michael worked as a Senior Engineer at GTE Government Systems from June 1986 to July 1993. Michael Grimaldi earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Binghamton University and attended the United States Military Academy at West Point.
