Mike Grimaldi

Michael Grimaldi is the Chief Information Officer for Balyasny Asset Management responsible for global Technology strategy and implementation. He is also a member of BAM’s Management Committee. He joined BAM in September 2021 and is based in London. Prior to joining BAM, Michael was the Chief Information Officer for the Corporate & Investment Bank at J.P. Morgan Chase from 2017 to 2021 where he led Technology for Global Markets, Securities Services and Wholesale Payments. From 2014 to 2017, he was the Chief Information Officer for the Corporate & Investment Bank at Deutsche Bank. Michael spent 21 years with Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for the consolidation and delivery of a world class global trading, sales and risk management platform across the firm. As a Partner at Goldman Sachs, he was the Head of Global Markets Technology and the Chief Information Officer for the EMEA region. Michael began his career at GTE Government Systems, a US Defense Telecommunications company, leading the Applied Machine Intelligence Research and Development team. Michael holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Mathematics and Computer Science from Binghamton University.
