Stewart Seaton

Stewart Seaton is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since December 2024. Prior to this role, Stewart held various positions in trading, including Senior Power Trader and Power Trader at Centrica Energy, where responsibilities included trading in short-term European power markets with a specific focus on the UK and CWE. Earlier experience includes roles at SSE plc as a Prompt Power Trader and Intraday Power Trader, where optimization of a 10GW portfolio was a key responsibility, as well as acting as a Prompt Trading Analyst. Stewart started in purchasing at Jaguar Land Rover and has notable academic credentials, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Strathclyde. Additionally, Stewart was recognized as a 2013 Scholar by the Saltire Foundation, aimed at identifying Scotland's future business leaders.
