Taylor Goodman

Taylor Goodman has a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. They started their career as an Engineer at PBS&J in 2000 and worked in that role until 2003. Taylor then moved on to Bury + Partners, where they worked as a Project Engineer from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, Taylor joined Balzer and Associates, Inc. as an Assistant Department Head and Project Manager for the Civil Engineering Department. They held this position until 2011 when they became the Department Head for the Environmental Department. In 2013, Taylor was promoted to Vice President at Balzer and Associates, Inc. where they have been working ever since. With a focus on environmental services, Taylor has experience in stream mitigation, wetland delineation, permitting, hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, stormwater management, and site inspection services. Overall, Taylor has a strong background in civil engineering and has held various leadership roles throughout their career.

Taylor Goodman attended Virginia Tech from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Professional Engineering from VA DPOR in December 2005 and a certification in Certified Nutrient Management Planner from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation in November 2011.
