Jake Cook

Jake Cook is a Research Assistant at Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung, contributing to the "Functionalization of surfaces 2" project within the Building Materials division. Previously, Jake served as a Product Engineer at 4Life Solutions, where responsibilities included leading the development of polymer materials for solar disinfection water purification devices, optimizing properties for outdoor applications, and utilizing various analytical techniques. Earlier experience includes a role as a Student Research Assistant at ESRF - The European Synchrotron, focusing on nano-imaging experiments, and conducting research at Procter & Gamble on enhancing particle flow. Education includes a Master of Science in Nanoscience from Københavns Universitet and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Leeds.
