Jose Pablo Chacón Castro

Jose Pablo Chacón Castro is currently a PhD candidate at Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung, focusing on the development of sustainable materials for firefighting applications. Past experiences include a research exchange at the University of Bayreuth under Prof. Greiner and a position at Hamburg University of Technology specializing in circular economy and plastic recycling. Chacón Castro's academic journey includes a master's degree in Polymer Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a licentiate degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica.
