Tim Albrecht

Tim Albrecht is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as a Member of the Management Board and Director of Global Engagement at the University of Birmingham's College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, while also holding the position of Professor of Physical Chemistry. Albrecht's research focuses on single-molecule analysis and the integration of AI into the Chemistry curriculum. Additionally, Albrecht is the Director of Research at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung and has been an Advisory Board Member for Analytical Sciences at Imperial College London. With extensive experience as a Visiting Professor at both the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London, Albrecht has held various academic roles at the Technical University of Denmark and the Max Planck Institute for Bioinorganic Chemistry. Albrecht earned a PhD from the University of Essen.
