Dougal Betts

Dougal is a design manager, responsible for examining external and internal design proposals. He makes sure design briefs are properly addressed and provide a safe, efficient, buildable design that meets the client’s expectations.

Dougal worked in sales for 8 years before enrolling in a Civil Engineering degree in 2007 and becoming a chartered member of the ICE in 2018. He has worked with us since 2013 and moved into a technical design role in 2016.

Dougal loves the great outdoors and has run several triathlons. In 2018, he assembled a team from BAM Nuttall who cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats, raising more than £20,000 for Mind – the mental health charity.
