Shane Skinner

Shane Skinner is currently a Lifting Safety Engineer at BAM Nuttall. Prior to this, they were with M&A Carpentry Southern Ltd from August 2019 to March 2020, where they were an Appointed Person and Crane Supervisor. Shane was also self-employed from May 2017 to March 2020, during which time they served as an Appointed Person. From September 2016 to March 2017, Shane Skinner was a Lift Supervisor with Aspin Group. Shane has also worked as a Lift Supervisor with the UK Ministry of Defence from September 2011 to September 2016, completing the military crane supervisor course and gaining worldwide experience of lifting operations in both military and civilian environments. Shane Skinner has also worked as a crane operator for over 11 years with the UK Ministry of Defence, from December 2004 to September 2016, and as a port operator class 2 with 17 Port & Maritime Regiment RLC from September 2004 to October 2016. Shane began their career as a soldier with the British Army in July 2003 and served until September 2016.
