Chris Ren

Chris Ren has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to the present. Chris started their career in 2014 as a Private Equity professional at Shore Capital Partners. Following this, they worked at J.P. Morgan in 2015, where they were involved in sales and trading, specifically focusing on development and project finance initiatives.

In 2016, Chris joined PIMCO as an Investment Associate. During their time there, they managed PIMCO's largest institutional accounts, generating new assets and revenue growth. Chris also conducted research and analysis to provide strategic recommendations to clients, improved portfolio returns, and oversaw the creation of PIMCO's asset-liability management system.

From 2018 to 2020, Chris founded and led Flare Beverages, demonstrating their entrepreneurial skills and ability to manage a business.

In 2020, Chris joined REEF as a Launch and Operations Manager, overseeing the successful launch and ongoing operations of the company.

Most recently, in 2022, they joined Bambee as an Operations Manager.

Chris Ren completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics with a minor in Computer Science and Business from Northwestern University between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended the International School of Beijing from 2003 to 2012. Additionally, Chris has obtained several certifications, including "Big Data in the Age of AI," "Learning SQL Programming," and "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals," all from LinkedIn. Chris obtained these certifications in 2020, with "Big Data in the Age of AI" and "Learning SQL Programming" in September and "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals" in June.
