Executive Vice President, Programs at the Financial Alliance for Women
Rebecca is responsible for leading all peer learning and research and knowledge programs for the Alliance, a global consortium of financial institutions that focus on accelerating women’s financial power. She also leads the design and implementation of the Alliance’s Female Economy Analytics platform as well as other data capabilities initiatives, including strategic and thought leadership support of the Women’s Financial Inclusion data partnership. She leads to membership development and relationship management of the Alliance’s Latin America portfolio.
Rebecca has over 15 years of experience in international finance, having worked previously for Women’s World Banking, the world’s largest network of microfinance institutions, developing WWB’s first gender performance metrics, and leading work on performance standards for the network. She also worked at WWB’s Capital Markets Group, supporting Network Members with the origination of over $60 million in new commercial funding, provided Investor Readiness assistance, and facilitating access to WWB’s Loan Guarantee Program. Prior to that, she worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts managing international hospitality investments globally.
She has a Masters’s degree in International Development and International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University. Rebecca currently serves on the Board of Aliados, a non-profit that is focused on creating sustainable livelihoods for the people of the Amazon through product innovation.
