Joel Sarmiento

Joel Sarmiento has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Joel started their career at Pacific Specialty Insurance Company in 2006 as an Underwriter for Property Lines. Joel gradually moved up the ranks, holding various roles such as Quality Control II, Supervisor for Casualty Lines, Assistant Underwriting Manager for Personal Lines, and Product Manager for Property & Liability Lines. Their last position at Pacific Specialty was Director of California Residential Property - Product Management. In 2018, Sarmiento joined Bamboo Insurance as the Product/Underwriting Manager and later became the Vice President of Underwriting in 2019.

Joel Sarmiento obtained their Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a specialization in General Business, from the College of San Mateo. Joel completed their degree between the years 2013 and 2018. In addition, they also hold a certification as a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent & Broker, which was obtained from the California Department of Insurance in January 2012.
