John Chu

John Chu is the current CEO of Bamboo Insurance. Prior to this, they were the Chairman and CEO of The McGraw Companies from March 2014 to April 2017. John has also held the position of Operating Partner at Altamont Capital Partners from March 2011 to March 2014, and at Golden Gate Capital from January 2009 to December 2010. John Chu began their career as a Managing Consultant at Tillinghast Towers-Perrin from January 1995 to December 1999. John then joined The Hartford as SVP, eBusiness & Technology in January 1999, where they worked until December 2008.

John Chu has a MBA in finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles.
