Ignacio Cardoso has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Ignacio began their career in 2004 as a General Accountant at Galfin Corredor de Bolsa S.A., where they worked until 2014. In 2000, they joined Gales Servicios Financieros, initially as a Financial and Administrative Manager until 2015, and then as a Compliance and Risk Officer until 2021. From 2015 to 2021, Ignacio held the position of Compliance Officer at Western Union. Currently, they serve as the Chief Compliance Officer at Bamboo Payment Systems, starting in 2021.
Ignacio Cardoso has a degree in Public Accountancy from the Universidad de la República. Ignacio also holds specialist certifications from the Instituto Uruguayo de Normas Técnicas (UNIT) in Quality Management (ISO 9000) and Risk Management (ISO 31000).
In addition to their formal education, Ignacio Cardoso has obtained certifications in various areas. Ignacio completed a course on Personal Data Protection Delegation at the Universidad de Montevideo in 2021. Ignacio also obtained a certification in Anti-Bribery Management Systems (ISO 37001) from UNIT Uruguay.
