Stuart Merson-Davies (NDip Vid Tech)

Stuart Merson-Davies (NDip Vid Tech) has extensive work experience in the media production industry. Stuart began their career as a Freelance Director, Editor, and Cameraman from 1996 to 2002. In 2004, they worked as a Producer - Webcasting at Now Media until 2007. From 2007 to 2021, they were a Producer/Director at In Sync Productions and also served as the owner of In Sync Media cc from 2008 to 2021. Stuart joined Bamboo Shoots in 2021 as a Producer/Director/DOP. Stuart also has experience as a Director/DOP at Showgroup from 2009 to 2011 and as a Music Director at Kainon School from 1999 to 2003.

Stuart Merson-Davies attended Westville Boys High School from 1988 to 1992 where they earned their Matric Exemption cert with a focus on arts. Following this, they attended Bryn Athyn College of the New Church from 1993 to 1994, obtaining an Associate in Arts degree with a concentration in Fine/Studio Arts, General. Finally, from 1995 to 1998, Stuart pursued their higher education at Durban University of Technology, where they earned their Ndip Vid Tech degree with a specialization in Television Production.
