Miranda Sawyer has a decade of experience in the design industry. Miranda began their career in 2004 as a Preflight Operator at Imperial Graphics. In 2005, they moved on to Progressive Distributions Inc. as a Web Designer and Front-End Developer. In 2006, they joined Crowe Horwath LLP as a Web and Graphic Designer. In 2008, they began working as a User Experience Designer and Front-End Developer at DVS, Inc. In 2010, they became a User Experience Designer at Biggs Gilmore. In 2014, they were promoted to Associate Director, Experience Designer at VMLY&R. In 2018, Miranda began working as a Senior User Experience Designer at Chloe and Isabel Thrive, and also as a User Experience Designer at Gordon Food Service. This year, they are working as a UX Architect at BAMF Health and as a Design Lab Mentor at Design Lab.

Miranda Sawyer obtained their BFA in Graphic Design and Web Design from Kendall College of Art and Design between 2000 and 2004. In 2012, they received a Certification in Usability Analyst from Human Factors International. Additionally, Miranda has obtained a number of certifications, including 10 Mentorship Sessions and 100 Mentorship Minutes from adplist.org in June 2022, UX Management: Strategy and Tactics from The Interaction Design Foundation in December 2021, Certified Scrum Professional from Scrum Alliance in March 2016, and Certified SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
