Charlie Flanagan, CFA, is chief AI officer at Balyasny Asset Management (BAM) and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Flanagan joined BAM in 2022 from Google, where he was a senior data science technical lead. Before that, he was a quantitative trading manager at QuantRes Fund and an equity derivatives dealer at ICAP Plc. Flanagan has an MBA from Columbia University and a Master of Software Engineering from Harvard University.
