Charles Rice

Charles Rice currently serves as Vice President of Venture Banking and Fund Finance at Banc of California following its merger with Pacific Western Bank in December 2023. Prior to this role, Charles Rice held various positions at Pacific Western Bank, including Vice President of Venture Banking and Associate Vice President of Special Assets, after the acquisition of Square 1 Bank. Charles Rice's career began at Square 1 Bank, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Analyst and Relationship Manager to the role of Associate Vice President in Special Assets. Earlier experience includes working as an accountant at Charles A. Rice, CPA, PA, and as Assistant Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield. Charles Rice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University and has completed an Executive Program in Business Strategy at Cornell University. Educational experiences also include study abroad at Bond University and further studies at East Carolina University.
