Ganesh Karunakaran

Ganesh Karunakaran currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Data Architecture and Engineering at Banc of California, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this, Ganesh held the same title at Pacific Western Bank, where responsibilities included spearheading data transformation and building an ecosystem to support analytics and AI/ML strategy. Ganesh's career includes significant roles at Cognizant as Associate Director and Senior Project Manager, leading cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, and at Pearson as Senior Technical Project Manager, overseeing application development and migrations to hybrid cloud environments. Earlier positions include Lead Solutions Architect at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Data Warehouse Architect/System Analyst at Nissan Motor Corporation, and Software Engineer at Mahindra Satyam. Ganesh obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Anna University Chennai.
