Stephen Hsu

Stephen Hsu is an experienced finance and risk management professional currently serving as Senior Vice President of Model Risk Management at Banc of California since December 2023. Hsu has a robust background in model risk management, overseeing comprehensive programs and governance frameworks throughout a career that includes significant roles at Pacific Western Bank, KPMG, MUFG Americas, Bank of America, and IndyMac Bank. Hsu's expertise encompasses model governance, credit risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and economic capital strategies. Hsu holds a Ph.D. in Economics from UCLA and graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School.
