Andrei Teodor Popa

Andrei Teodor Popa is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Product Owner at BCR since August 2015. In this role, Andrei leads a lab comprising four squads, where responsibilities include setting product visions, managing roadmaps and backlogs, and ensuring alignment with business stakeholders. Notable achievements include launching Romania's first fully automated digital lending products for both micro and corporate customers. Previous roles include Strategy Consultant and Team Leader Corporate Financial Analyst at BCR, and Senior Financial Controller at Piraeus Bank Romania. Andrei's career began as a Credit Analyst at UniCredit Tiriac Bank, progressing through various roles in credit analysis and financial management. Andrei holds a Bachelor's degree in Banks and Stock Exchange from Academia de Studii Economice din București.
