Carmen Lira

Carmen Lira has extensive experience in the banking industry, specifically in the field of operational and market risk management. Carmen started their career at UniCredit Romania in 2000 as an Accountant and then moved on to UniCredit Tiriac Bank S.A. In their roles at UniCredit Tiriac Bank S.A., they served as the Head of Operational Risk Department from 2007 to 2014 and also held positions as a Market/Investment/Operational Risk Senior Officer Coordinator and Market Risk Management Officer. Carmen Lira is currently the Head of Operational Risk Department at BCR, a position they have held since 2015.

Carmen Lira attended the Academia de Studii Economice din București from 1995 to 1999. During their time there, they focused on the field of Gestiunea si analiza financiara a intreprinderii, although no specific degree was mentioned.
