Ciprian Vasii has extensive work experience in the field of network infrastructure and security. Ciprian started their career as a Technical Support Engineer at ICOS SRL in 2005 and then worked as a Network Engineer at Romtelecom from 2007 to 2008. Ciprian then joined Alpha Bank as a Senior Network Engineer from 2008 to 2013. After that, they worked at Teamnet as a Senior Network Engineer from 2013 to 2015 and later as a Technology Security Consultant from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are working at BCR as the Head of Network Infrastructure Team since 2019, where they also previously held the position of Network Security Administrator from 2017 to 2019.
Ciprian Vasii has a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the Military Technical Academy, which they obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the "Politehnica" University Bucuresti between 2000 and 2005. In addition to their formal education, Ciprian has obtained various certifications, including the NSE 7 Security Expert, NSE 4 - FortiGate Network Security Professional, NSE 5 - FortiGate Network Security Manager/Analyst, NSE 3 - Fortinet Sales Associate from Fortinet in 2015 and 2016, and the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching, Cisco Certified Network Associate Security, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching from Cisco in 2014 and 2015.
