Ramona Kurko (Grozea), FCCA has a strong work experience in the finance and banking sector. Ramona started their career at Ernst&Young Romania as a Senior Auditor in October 2003 and worked there until September 2006. In 2006, they joined BCR where they held various positions over the years. Ramona started as an Associate in M&A and Project Advisory and worked until September 2008. From October 2008 to May 2012, Ramona served as a Senior Associate in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking. Ramona then became the Vice President in the same department from June 2012 to July 2013. From August 2013 to June 2022, they held the role of Director, Head of Energy&Utilities in Corporate Banking. Currently, Ramona is serving as the Deputy Managing Director at BCR.
Ramona Kurko (Grozea), FCCA has an extensive education history. In 1995, they attended "Ion C. Brătianu" National College in Pitesti, where they completed their secondary education. Ramona then pursued higher education at Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Equity Capital Markets.
Continuing their education, Ramona joined the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2007 and became a fellow in 2012. Ramona studied Accounting and Finance at ACCA from 2004 to 2006.
In 2009, Ramona participated in the "Connect" development program by Erste Group, International Talent program, offered by Dale Carnegie, focusing on customized education for Senior Professionals. This program lasted until 2010.
Most recently, Ramona attended IESE Business School in 2017-2018, where they pursued Customized Executive Education, although the specific degree name is not provided.
