Irina Leonte has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Irina began their career in 2005 as an Operations Manager at AZUR FINANCIAL SERVICES. Irina then moved on to Bank Leumi in 2007, where they worked as a Financial Analyst at the Strategy and Organization Department. In 2008, they joined Bancpost as a Risk Analyst, and worked there until 2013. Since 2013, Irina has been employed at BCR, starting as a Project Manager and progressing to Supervisor of the Business Analysis Office, Coordinator of the BI Risk & Finance Business Analysis Team, Head of the BI Analysis and Design Department, and eventually assuming their current role as Head of IT Data.
Irina Leonte completed a Group Leadership Development Program at IESE Business School in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Management and Business Administration from Business and Communication British Academy between 2007 and 2008, with a focus on marketing, business communication, strategic management, advertising, commercial operations, and banking. Their earlier education includes a degree in Finance, Insurance, Banking, and Stock Exchange from The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, which they obtained between 2003 and 2007, with a specialization in banking and stock exchange. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) certification from scrum.org in April 2022.
