Tiberiu Mihai

Tiberiu Mihai began their work experience in 1994 as an accounting software developer at the Accounting expertise office - APeleanu. In 1997, they joined BCR as a Corporate credit risk underwriter and progressed through various roles within the company over the years. Tiberiu's roles at BCR included Head of credit risk underwriter unit, Head of Credit Analysis and Due Diligence, Head of Corporate Risk Strategy Department, and, most recently, Head of Corporate Credit Models Projects. In their current position, they lead projects for developing and implementing credit scorecards for companies and public authorities, reviews credit risk models, and develops financial, lending, and credit risk engines for companies.

Tiberiu Mihai has a diverse education history. In 1997, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Industry Management from Academia de Studii Economice din București. The following year, they pursued a Professional Business Counselor degree at Washington State University. In 2007, Tiberiu earned their Master's Degree in Financial Management, Capital Markets, and Econometrics from Academia de Studii Economice din București. Moving forward, they completed an MBA at HEC Montréal in 2008. Later on, Tiberiu obtained a Certification in Commercial Credit from Moody's Analytics in 2016. Lastly, they completed a Green Belt Certificate program at LSSIAP in 2019.
