Darko Popovic

Darko Popovic serves as the CEO and President of the Executive Board at Banca Intesa Beograd, a position held since February 2003. Popovic has held various leadership roles within the bank, including Head of Retail, Head of Corporate Banking, and Head of Risk Management. In addition, Popovic is the Deputy General Manager of Intesa Fondacija filantropska organizacija and a Supervisory Board member for Intesa Sanpaolo International Value Services and Intesa Invest Asset Management Company. Recently appointed as Vice President of AmCham Serbia, Popovic has also led Intesa Leasing Belgrade as President of the Board of Directors from 2014 to 2022. Before these roles, Popovic worked at NBS as a Banking on-site supervisor. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from the University of Belgrade and multiple executive education programs from prestigious institutions, such as Stanford and Harvard.
