Maja Kolar

Maja Kolar possesses extensive experience in banking and corporate communications, currently serving as Head of the SME Department at Banca Intesa Beograd since November 2006. Kolar oversees a significant loan and trade finance portfolio exceeding EUR 1.3 billion and has held various leadership roles, including Regional Retail and Small Business Director, where oversight included a regional branch network of 48 offices with 615 employees. Additional responsibilities spanned marketing and communications, encompassing strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and digital marketing. Kolar's career also includes roles at Raiffeisen Bank and Hemofarm, alongside an early internship at UBI Banca. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from the University of Belgrade and Executive Education from INSEAD.
