Paola De Martini

Paola De Martini has been an independent director of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. since May 2020, where she is also a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Related-party transactions Committee.

She holds a Law degree from the University of Genoa, a PhD in Finance Science from the University of Genoa and a Master’s in International Business Transactions.

From June 1985 to February 1994 she worked as a lawyer at Uckmar Law Firm, dealing mainly with the legal and tax aspects of mergers, demergers, acquisitions, intercompany relations, corporate governance, strategic planning of groups of companies, joint ventures, transfer prices, permanent establishments, holding companies, financial leases, stock exchange listing of companies, international contracts.
