Luca Barone

Luca Barone is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in capital markets and wealth management. Currently serving as Vice Direttore Generale Mercati e Wealth Management at Banca Profilo since June 2009, Luca also heads Capital Markets and focuses on banking book trading and risk management, as well as the design and implementation of arbitrage trading strategies. In addition to roles at MDOTM and Sator Group Spa, Luca has held significant positions such as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and has contributed to academia as a professor at the European School of Economics. Luca's educational background includes a Master's in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a Ph.D. in Finance, and multiple degrees in Economics and Finance from Luiss Guido Carli University and Cass Business School.
