Rafael Kataoka has extensive experience in data management and analytics. Rafael has held various senior roles in major financial institutions such as Banco ABC Brasil, Safra, Itaú Unibanco, and Grupo Santander Brasil. Rafael has been responsible for leading and driving data initiatives, including data engineering, data architecture, data governance, and data privacy. Rafael Kataoka holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, obtained in 2009. Rafael further pursued their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project Management from FGV - Fundacao Getulio Vargas, completed between 2013 and 2015. In 2016, Rafael completed a Data Analyst Nanodegree program at Udacity Brasil, specializing in Machine Learning. Rafael also completed a Training Program in Machine Learning at the Advanced Solutions Lab - Google Cloud in Silicon Valley in 2017. In terms of certifications, Rafael has obtained the Advanced Solution Lab - Machine Learning on Google Cloud Platform certification from Google Cloud Certified in December 2017. Rafael also holds a Data Analyst Nanodegree certification from Udacity Brasil, earned in February 2016.
