Oscar Romero Navas

Oscar Romero Navas has extensive experience in the finance and risk management sectors, currently serving as a board member and President of the Risk Committee at Banco Adopem since May 2025. Previously, Oscar held the position of Deputy Director of the USAID Finance for Equity Program at DAI from December 2022 to April 2025. Oscar's career spans over two decades, including roles as Vice President of Risks and Credit Risk Manager at Banco de las Microfinanzas - Bancamia S.A. from March 2008 to December 2022, and as Director of Superintendency (E) in the Credit Risk Management Department at the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia. Educational qualifications include a degree in Public Accounting from Universidad Antonio Nariño, specialized studies in Financial Management, Financial and Stock Market Law, a Master's in Microfinance and Social Development, and advanced studies in Strategic Management and Leadership from prestigious institutions.
