João Cardona Ferreira

João Cardona Ferreira is an experienced professional in the field of compliance and data science, currently serving as the Quality and Improvement Manager for Compliance - AML at Banco CTT since June 2022. In this role, João develops insights and methodologies to optimize processes, serves as a liaison between teams and the IT department, and manages various compliance projects, including leading the AML Data Strategy. Prior to this, João worked at Banco Santander from September 2017 to July 2022 in various roles, including Data Analytics & Reporting in Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention, and held an IT Trainee position. João also attended the European Innovation Academy in July 2018 as an attendee CMO. Educationally, João has a Post Graduate degree in Data Science (2020-2021) and a Master's degree in Information Management with a specialization in Marketing Intelligence (2016-2019) from NOVA IMS, as well as a degree in Business Communications with a focus on Marketing from Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (2013-2016).
