Gabriel Morris Sarmiento

Gabriel Morris Sarmiento currently serves as Vicepresidente de Transformación Tecnológica at Banco Davivienda since November 2022. Previously, Sarmiento held multiple leadership roles at Banco de Bogotá from December 2015 to October 2022, including Head de Arquitectura & Tecnología Digital, Líder de Arquitectura digital - Lab Digital, and Arquitecto empresarial, focusing on application architecture for digital projects. Sarmiento has also worked as a software architect consultant at GaudiTech and held various managerial positions in SOA & BPM across several companies, including VASS and IBM, contributing to enterprise architecture and digital transformation projects. Additionally, Sarmiento has experience as a freelance consultant and has served as a professor in software architecture. Sarmiento is pursuing a Magister en Dirección de Empresas - Executive MBA from INALDE Business School while holding degrees in Software Engineering and Computer Science Engineering.
