Susana Pereira Barbosa

Susana Pereira Barbosa serves as the Head of the Information Systems and Technology Department at Banco de Portugal since August 2025, following a 15-year tenure at CMVM where roles included Head of Information and Technology Department, General Coordination of Operations (interim), Organization and Planning Office Deputy Director, Technological Systems and Infrastructures Department Deputy Director, and Senior Internal Auditor. At CMVM, responsibilities encompassed managing the Organization Transformation Program, defining IT and Data Strategy, and representing CMVM at ESMA's IT Management Group. Prior to CMVM, Susana was a Manager at Deloitte's Enterprise Risk Services, focusing on digital transformation initiatives across various industries. Susana holds an Executive MBA from INDEG-ISCTE and a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Iscte.
