Marcos Paulo Friedrich

Marcos Paulo Friedrich, Ph.D., currently serves as the Superintendente Executivo at Banrisul, focusing on the retail banking sector for individuals and small to medium enterprises. With extensive experience in strategic commercial management, Friedrich has held various leadership roles, including executive committee positions at Banrisul Pagamentos S.A., and has been a key influencer in the Fundação Banrisul de Seguridade Social as a board member and president of the fiscal council, overseeing compliance and asset management for one of the largest pension funds in Rio Grande do Sul. Friedrich has also contributed to academia as a professor in various educational institutions and holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Accounting Sciences and Management. Additionally, Friedrich is actively pursuing further governance training at IBGC.
