Vanessa Rahal Canado

Vanessa Rahal Canado serves as a Professor and the Assistant Dean for Graduate and Executive Education in Law at Insper since January 2019, also coordinating the Tax Policy Research Center and various postgraduate courses. Vanessa has been a member of the Audit Committee at Banco Fibra since December 2022 and operates as a tax policy consultant through Vanessa RC since June 2021, focusing on topics related to tax reform and current legislative proposals. Previous roles include serving as a Special Advisor at the Brazilian Ministry of Economy from October 2019 to April 2021, and holding leadership positions at Endowment Direito GV and the Centro de Cidadania Fiscal. Vanessa's academic background includes a Doctorate and Master's degree in Tax Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Law from Faculdade de Direito de São Bernardo do Campo.
