Carles Abarca

Carles Abarca is the current Chief Technology Officer at Banco Sabadell. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Information Officer at Banco Sabadell from 2007 to 2015. Before Banco Sabadell, they were the CEO of NETFOCUS from 2004 to 2007, and the CIO of E-xtendnow from 2000 to 2002. From 1996 to 2000, they worked at SIEMENS as the Financial Services Unit Manager, and from 1992 to 1995 they worked at STERIA as a Unit Manager.

Carles Abarca has a Master in e-commerce and new economy from MIT Sloan School of Management and a degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
