Mauro Battisti is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment banking and the energy sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at Safra since September 2022, Mauro previously held the role of Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Energy & Renewables at BNP Paribas from May 2018 to September 2022. Mauro's career began at Itaú BBA as a Junior Manager, leading to significant positions at HSBC, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and BTG Pactual. Throughout the career, Mauro has excelled in power and utilities, renewable energy, and M&A transactions across Europe and Latin America, earning recognition as a top financial advisor in clean energy transactions globally. Mauro holds an MBA in Finance and Public Policy from The Wharton School and a Master of Arts & Sciences in International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
