Vera Guerreiro

Vera Guerreiro is a seasoned professional in risk modeling and data analysis, currently engaged in the Young Leaders 2023 program at Santander since October 2022. Vera has been with Santander Portugal since July 2015, where roles have included Scoring and Rating Modeling Team Leader, Stress Test and Impairment Team Leader, and Senior Analyst in Risk and Impairment Methodology. Vera's expertise encompasses model development and monitoring for risk assessments and stress testing, as well as compliance with regulatory standards. Prior experience includes academic engagement as a guest lecturer at Porto Business School and positions in credit risk analysis at Novo Banco and Finibanco. Vera holds a Master's degree in statistical modeling and data analysis, and a Licentiate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Évora.
