Itzhel Vargas Blass

Itzhel Vargas Blass is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in strategic alignment, portfolio management, and program management. Currently serving as the Financial Services Head Portfolio Manager at BanCoppel since August 2023, Itzhel aligns strategy with product development while managing delivery to customers. Previously, as the Head of Managers of Financial Services Strategic Alignment at Coppel, responsibilities included defining and overseeing the financial services portfolio to drive business transformation. At SURA Asset Management, Itzhel operated as the Regional Strategy Program Manager, managing complex programs across the Latin American region. Prior experience includes senior project management at PROTECCIÓN S.A. and strategic evaluation at INFONAVIT. Itzhel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Escuela Bancaria y Comercial, a Master's Degree in Innovation and Business Development from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and is pursuing a MEDEX degree at IPADE Business School.
