Donald Sweeney

Donald Sweeney has a diverse background in various leadership roles within different companies. Donald is currently serving as the President at BAND-IT IDEX since 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of President in the McDonald's Business Unit at Marmon Foodservice Technologies from 2019 to 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the growth and innovation of the brand, as well as managing the post-merger integration. Before that, Donald was the President of the McDonald's Business Unit at Prince Castle from 2017 to 2019, where they focused on developing new product offerings. Donald also served as the General Manager - Transit at Penn Machine, The Marmon Group from 2013 to 2016, overseeing the North American division and successfully managing major field failures. Prior to that, they held management positions at ITW Switches from 2011 to 2013 and served as a Sales Manager from 2007 to 2010. Donald started their career as a Sales Engineer at ITW Linx from 2001 to 2003 and later at ITW Switches from 2003 to 2006.

Donald Sweeney has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Donald also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Donald has obtained certifications in various areas, including Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Leading with Vision, Creating a High Performance Culture, Critical Thinking, and Developing a Competitive Strategy, all of which were obtained through LinkedIn. The certifications were obtained in different months and years, with the most recent certification being Leading with Emotional Intelligence obtained in March 2020.
